UCSF Biophysics

The Dill research group is in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). We are a part of graduate teaching and research programs in Quantitative Biology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics, and Chemistry and Chemical Biology.

Our research interests are in the physical properties of proteins, RNA molecules, water, and in aqueous solvation. Our work involves computational biology and statistical mechanical modeling.

We are at the UCSF Mission Bay Campus is 600 16th Street, Box 2240, San Francisco, CA 94158-2517.

We have developed a textbook
in Physical Chemistry:
